    Hi There,

I know you guys are working on a service build that will have the plugin that supports Outlook 2013, but I was wondering when will the planned release will be? It seems to be almost half a year has passed since a new build has been released. Our company is planning to roll out Office 2013 to the organization soon, and it would be nice to have this plug-in up and running before that happens.

    Hello,

At this point, I do not have a schedule for when the service build will be available.

It will take a few weeks until it's released. To my best knowledge, next week it should go for testing.

Considering you can not buy Office 2010 anymore, the support for 2013 seems to be more and more important. Any idea when?

I assume it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks but this is only my personal estimation. We want to make sure that Endpoint products are delivered without any severe bugs so the pre-release testing usually takes more time.

    Hello,

The build for release is still being tested. As always, the goal of any ESET software release is to put out a version that is as stable as, if not more stable than, the version that preceded it. Sometimes, it takes a little longer than expected to run through all the testing ESET requires before releasing a product.

As soon as we have a firm date we can communicate we'll do so here in the forum.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

    Hello,

I'm not sure if that will be the exact build number associated with the service release of the Endpoint software, but it's certainly possible.

Right now, I'm hoping I'll have more information in a week (my personal guess, not an official proclamation).

    Regards,

Thank you for the update Aryeh.

Do you know if a similar release will be made available for NOD32 Business edition?

ESET Endpoint Antivirus is the successor of ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition and ESET Endpoint Security is the successor of ESET Smart Security Business Edition. Old products are not developed any more.

    Hello,

Just to add to my colleague Marcos' comments, upgrading from ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition to ESET Endpoint Antivirus (or from ESET Smart Security Business Edition to ESET Endpoint Security) is free. Your old "BE" licenses will work just fine with the corresponding new ESET Endpoint program.

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky
