Partition Manager 12 Home - Support for Windows 8 ??

    Does anyone know whether Partition Manager 12 will work with Windows 8 yet.
    The Paragon website seems to indicate it still is not supported.

    Windows 8 is not supported yet. You could try Partition Wizard, which supports Windows 8 according to the website (although I don´t see explicit reference to UEFI support). PW has been traditionally reliable.

    I tried PW 7.6 just tonight on a new Acer laptop I got. I wanted to format and reinstall my way to get rid of all the vendor bloat. It will not even boot. It shuts the computer off just after displaying the opening load sequence. Every time I tried. I've used it on my big box many times with no trouble. The laptop does have UEFI, but I can change it back to legacy boot in setup, which I had done. Weird.
