    Just install http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2532445

After installing this fix, you will see Untrusted IL in Windows 7 (f.i. Chrome) being replaced by AppContainer. According to unofficial sources AppContainer in Win7 is a fork development needed for the Windows 7.5 tiles interface on Smartphones. This fork was used as a quick fix to deny access to the API which bypasses AppLocker protection.

Supposed difference in Win7 en Win8, no partition between sandboxed/contained programs. Under Win7 all Low IL files/registry are still accessible by AppContained aps.

All info not tested myself, but it is from a (useally) reliable source.
