I never experienced such issues in Chromium. Is it an issue only with IE?

 

I'm pretty sure I've seen this in Firefox & Chrome. My guess is that it is some extension problem with their page sometimes. I never figured it out.

 

I emailed them using the mail to link that was in the article you posted. Will post any response from them.

 

They contacted me wanting some info but in the mean time, I fixed it by adding -http://ixquick.com/do/metasearch.pl- to the white list of Adblock Pro.
