It looks like a weird marketing ploy to attract women to use MBAM - as if they were too thick to be able to use it before

It does appear to be MBAM with a different skin - even the databases are identical when updated....the setup size is the same and it`s even the same price to buy, also the IP address that it connects to when updating the database is eerily similar to MBAM ;)

It could be MBAM trying to attract a larger female userbase ?

Interesting they juxtapose a photo of a snake and their product graphics considering major creation tales account that such a creature hoodwinked a woman into getting everyone kicked out of eternal paradise.

But it is MBAM, after all. So, a big :thumb: to all involved!

Those screen shots remind me I've often wished I could skin MBAM with something more attractive than their default UI. It's almost as ugly as Avast. And Avast is as ugly as they get.

Couldn't agree more! The newer version of Avast is better than the old though. It had some kind of WMP UI skin for one thing, a windows skinned dialog for another and some other kind of window. Never could remember which of the three I wanted to go into at the time.

Their free version info is misleading, it does not provide real-time protection.

Is this an authorized modification of MBAM?
