    Ok folks,

I don't know how many people here are into Hockey, but the NHL Playoffs are well underway and where i come from Hockey is a religion.

Iam a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan( my hometown) so obviously iam hoping for great things from them.( they have advanced to the second round but are down 1 game to 0 to the Philadelphia Flyers  ) THe Maple Leafs have not won the coveted Lord Stanley Cup in 37 years  so it is well overdue! ;) :D

    So come on Hockey fans!

Tell us who your favourite team is and your predictions for the rest of the Playoffs.

'Fraid not - Boston DeadSox, perennial losers since 1914 (or is it '18?). At least my Patsies are no longer doormats!

But more on topic, as much as I hate too, I've got to side with Galadriel regarding Les Habs as my grandmother was born in Quebec.

I am a big Habs fan, too! I was bummin' when they didn't win it in year 2000. That's when it became the first time in their history that they went more than seven years without a Cup. Ten years and counting. :'(

:'( I sympatize with all ya... They were such a great team... keyword, "were"!
Oh well gave us some trills this year.

I think Michael Ryder deserves to win the Calder Trophy... even if Raycroft was good this year...

Hey Proud Canadian: where's your fighting spirit ? ? !
I have to admit I know nothing about hockey (in Europe we call it ice-hockey btw-hockey to us means field-hockey). I'm more into soccer, especially the proud artists of Amsterdam: AJAX = ART. :)

Don't give in, it ain't over 'till it's over!!

Thumbs up, and support your herous!

    Hi Snowbound,

Yah, the boys played great tonight! :D Belak made his presence known ... And for some reason that got Almo playing a physical game ... I couldn't believe he had 5 or 6 BIG hits ... that was great to watch ... lol, I hope all the rough stuff doesn't hurt his hip though.

The Boys got their game together tonight ... offense, defense, transition and hard nose play to boot ... this series looks far from over now.

    Go Leafs Go!
