Shame Shame. Just the another day people were getting on Eset about not giving at least some indication of the next release. Well here it is.

Congrats Eset, looking forward to this and all it will entail.:thumb: :thumb:

    That's great news indeed:D

But as usual ESET is silent as a, as a....whatever, when it's time to mention up coming features:( Since that press-release would be the perfect spot to tell us about anything new....

    Thank god ESET.

I have been asking at lot of questions on version 5, always the same annoying answer, but I have to admit, they really compensated with this message. I also think it is time to buy me a license again after 1,5 weeks of not using ESET :D.

To be honest I don't have a clue, one post by Marcos gave me the idea ESET is not really positive about behavior blockers. (He said something like: "these threats bypass the famous behavior blockers".)
And I am not a big fan of HIPS.

No the beta will come soon anyway, I think ESET could disclose some information about the features :D.

Neither am I :) And it feels like a HIPS doesn't fit in anywhere, in ESET's current line up.

And as WE both have said before (many times) let's go for the BB instead:thumb:

    Yes, this is wonderful news.
I am looking forward to doing a beta test run.
I have been using ESET for as long as it was out there, and love it.
Perhaps by the end of this month we will see a notice as to beta testing.

We already got a little bit of a Cloud Service in ThreatSense.Net

But of course, ESET could further develop the Cloud service to some reputation based service of some sort.

Hope the parental control is an option (like in NIS) or custom install is available.

Come on, it's an ESET product, so it can be turned off i'm assuming :).

Kind of what was expected, parental control and more cloud assistance. I just hope they don't use cloud as the keyword or something like that, then would me me feel really dissapointed with the license I just bought.

    Source?
