Mandriva dead in the water ??

    Didn't read the article but with the economy the way it is now, we are seeing Linux companies go down. First Novell (which is in the middle of selling out) and now perhaps Mandriva (which has had financial problems for a while). At least Red Hat is still going strong, and Canonical is still keep their heads above water.

    I think there just simply isn't enough of a market share right now for so many corporations to be backing their own flavors of Linux.

    wasnt the 1Billion dollar sale of Novell declined by Novell? 1 Billion dollars is darn good, so good for Linux :D
