Avira Pro vs Premium ?

Does anyone know the main difference between the professional vs premium version ?

If one needs for 1 computer, which is better ?

 

from looking at it Avira Premium seems better suited for home use. The Pro version is geared more towards business (big and small)

 

But what the main difference, does Pro do a better job at protection compared to Premium ?

 

Not sure why would there be any difference in protection, maybe some functionality only

no difference in detection&removal capabilities.. pro version can scan network drive

 

Is that the only difference ? I noticed that a firewall is included in Professional.

This is a bit confusing. I have contacted Avira as well, still waiting for a reply.

 

yep, pro version just recently include firewall (startting version 10).

To add to what cupez80 said, AntiVir Professional also includes the Avira Security Management Center.
One more thing : AntiVir Professional can be installed on the network.

 

My computer is not on a network, its a home computer but i also do business through it.

 

So I recommend Avira Premium Security Suite.

 

I am running Online Armor Free firewall, the Avira prem. security suite also contains firewall. I am satisfied with OA Free

 

So AntiVir Premium is adapted to your need.
