LnS and Win7 Ultimate

    Hi

    Just installed LnS under W7 Ultimate for a trial.
    So far it works but question is:
    does the W7 Firewall Service MpsSvc have to stay active,
    or may I deactivate it?

    You should turn it off, no need to have yet another packet filter to maintain. ;)

    It doesn't have to stay on and you can deactivate it but I leave it on. The 2 don't conflict

    Not sure if the W7 FW will use additional resources.
    Both may not conflict in running parallel,
    but does one eventually override the rules of the other?

    Guess I deact the W7 FW and follow Phant0m's advice.

    No, when both are active, a packet is accepted only and only if both rulesets accept it.
