People at my work are getting it told them to get malwarebytes and SAS and they are cleaning this problem up.

 

I downlaoded one of these viruses a few days back (It was supposedly from UPS) I did it on purpose on a VM to test if it was undetectable, and G-Data deleted it before it could download

a lot of members of my family got affected by that Facebook Koobface. Once someoen has it for a certain amount of time it spreads through messages and wall posts it seems. then people unsuspecting thinking its something on "youtube" the person has uploaded click the link and then get infected. The sad thing is the only A/V I know of that detected the threat when it was first being spread was Panda. I was running a trial of it at the time and it blocked it. MSE didn't, Avast didnt, AVG didnt, etc etc. And it took most vendors about 4 weeks before they started detecting it.

 

My brother's computer got infected with this a month and a half ago. Free AVG and Avast failed but Norton did block and clean it.
