    Hi
i'm valuing to buy Hard Disk Manager 2010 Professional or Drive Backup 10 Professional

i want the Adaptive Restore , i mean i need it

i guess Drive Backup 10 Professional included it , is included Adaptive Restore in the recovery cd (the boot cd that i can do and burn with the program)?

about Hard Disk Manager 2010 Professional ,could be a cool solution because has a lot of features

but in the paragon home page, i gave a look to the feature , i did not find the Adaptive Restore

does Hard Disk Manager 2010 Professional include the Adaptive Restore ?
can i work with the recovery cd with Adaptive Restore inside?

    sorry my poor english

    best regards

Re: recovery cd linux or bart's cd

    Hi,

I believe the adjust o/s to boot on new hardware function is included in the Linux/Dos cd.

I normally use the WinPe cd.

If you get the HDM Professional , you also get a WinPe 2.1 cd as a separate download.

You can download just the .iso , or a self burning package.

The WinPe cd is great - there is no need to make Bartpe cd.

    Hope it helps.

Paragon support is usually excellent - They are not here at the weekend. You need to give them a few working days to respond.

I don't know about the BartPe plugin - I have it for the 9 series - it can be adapted easily , but I haven't used it for the 10 series.

If you are on Windows 7, you can use this to make a WinPe 3.0 cd for you:

I made it for the Partition Manger - it will work fine for HDM, but the Express menu may look a little odd.

Unfortunately, there are limitations with the Trial version of HDM - it does not do everything the full version will.

I recommend the WinPE CD over the Linux most of the time simply because it has more features, support newer hardware and can load third party drivers for independent hardware.
