runtime error '481' with Spyblaster and Spyguard

    Installed 3.0 on my Win2000 box. Closed all running programs first, disabled AV (McAfee). After installation I get the an error box stating:

    runtime error '481' invalid picture

    I uninstalled Spyblaster, deleted the subdirectory left over, and tried installation again. Had the same result.

    However it works fine on my Win98SE box.

    Did the exact same thing with Spyguard and Browser Hijack Blaster.

    Any suggestions?

    You might try running this run-time installer:

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98Me/EN-US/vbrun60sp5.exe

    It should copy the latest support files to your system. Let me know if that fixes it. :)
