The RC is now a full, final release version that is being offered as an optional upgrade until the final announcement is made for the general public mid month due to the holidays. This is not a Beta

* Full Scan feature**

* When web sites are opened from GUI, allow use GUI language on the sites
* When a file is moved to quarantine, mark the corresponding security message as processed

* Changed the way of configuration discovery under virtual machines. New installations will require entering a license again as well as setting other program options
* Optimize memory/CPU usage, which is especially noticeable for commodity PCs

No, the Full Scan is only available for purchased copies of the software. The Quick scan continues to be available however in all except the unregistered free version.

Thanks Mike. Got it downloaded and installed and working ok so far on a LUA account. Noticed that you have to give it administrator privelages to run a full scan.

 

Yes, this is true. Future versions will not require this, but for now it is a necessity.

On admin - full system scan disabled - is it ok? how to enable it?

Deem myself an intermediate user of windows and such and it doesn't come without a considerable effort to get hold of Returnil's features and use...yet when it comes to my false beginner friends who I've been trying to teach how to use it...

In short - not until we see an option to turn on/ off Returnil w/o the need to reboot that most people will think of it as too complicated.

The Full Scan feature is only available in purchased versions of Home Lux and Enterprise Premier. It is also available for a limited evaluation time in the Trial version. The Full Scan is not available in promotional copies.
