As the topic says, I would like to know how to set Malware Defender so that it will alert me if any process begins acting like a keylogger.

    Any suggestions?

MD will alert you for keylogging actions when using the default rule set. You need not to do anything special.

PS. Several system applications (including explorer.exe) are allowed to access keyboard by default. And MD do not prompt accessing keyboard if the process is the foreground app.
