Darn!! I want to compete with mack_guy but my wife will have none of it :p

Anyway, I'll have to settle on some Brit bubbles instead on Mint Julia...

aigle,I suppose you refer to the weather stuff ?
If so you can get all the information from http://ubuntu-virginia.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1156383 including the weather_script.sh and conkyweather.otf package.
accuweather is used in the script - I prefer this as no registration is required as with weather.com. Also some towns/cities not covered by weather.com may be covered by
    accuweather.
Anyway the link (down right now for maintenance), has full instructions.
The script used in the sshots is the following - see the stuff below TEXT.

    Code:
    # Use Xft?
    use_xft yes
    xftfont DejaVu Sans:size=9
    xftalpha 0.8
    text_buffer_size 2048

    # Update interval in seconds
    update_interval 2

    # This is the number of times Conky will update before quitting.
    # Set to zero to run forever.
    total_run_times 0

    # Create own window instead of using desktop (required in nautilus)
    own_window yes
    own_window_transparent yes
    own_window_type override
    #own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager

    # Use double buffering (reduces flicker, may not work for everyone)
    double_buffer yes

    # Minimum size of text area
    minimum_size 150 0
    #maximum_width 260

    # Draw shades?
    draw_shades no

    # Draw outlines?
    draw_outline no

    # Draw borders around text
    draw_borders no

    # Stippled borders?
    stippled_borders 0

    # border margins
    #border_margin 5

    # border width
    border_width 16

    # Default colors and also border colors
    default_color azure
    #default_shade_color black
    #default_outline_color white
    own_window_colour white

    # Text alignment, other possible values are commented

Edit:- In the post, where teo mentions 'do a find and replace' (to replace teo username in the weather script with yours), you can do it from the search menu in gedit - select 'Replace'....
I didn't know this and was thus introduced to the 'sed' command.:D
