Hmm. It would appear after downloading thier software for evaluation, that Avira piped up with a dropper DR/Delf.dhn dropper in my cache.

i don't see how it can protect from malware , there is no such option to rollback setting...

 

How does this stack up against others, such as RegWatcher?

Keep searching, I got the dropper warning too. Also, Bellgamin is right, Comodo, Norton, Defensewall, A2, all could handle the job and provide more protection. No offense to you Prorootect, appreciate the find, I just think there are better options.

 

As far as I know they hired a GUI designer from Honolulu for this job.
However, it may be useful for people who use "only" a suite like Avira or ESS.
It seems to work like aderted, it detects and blocks the creation of reg keys for autoruns, services, BHOs etc.
It looks like sh!t and it's free.

Ah Austria made my most favorite thing in the world but its not system shield.

 

DefenseWall is what you want. Now that one will do the job far more secure in comparison IMO.

SystemShield: after the first one-two days, leaves no warning, if you do not have a malvare in the vincinity.

It's annoying: 1. when starts donation'popup. 2. when shutdown windows it ask if the user wants to shutdown.

These annoyances are a bit disappointing. It's a hassle to use everyday, IMO.

I was happy to tried to help you.

I have searched in the Registry,nothing to do ( native thread ...). To forget, to forget, as replied my doctor. It does not matter: one click and that's all ( after start of Windows only ).

I understand the motivations of developer, yes.

PS. I have also USEC Radix Antirootkit and Nemesis Anti-Spyware from usec.at. All very good softwares from this Austrian developer.
