    Awesome & blue! It's a must! Here: http://www.usec.at/ushields.html Tiny & small!

I'm full of admiration for the result of work of its developer.

I have ALL softwares of usec.at, from Austria, our Mother!

All three, full color, of course.

Austrian eye-candy. Why keep a cow when milk is so cheap?

All HIPS & many AVs will do that simplex job and LOTS more for much less cpu time.

How does this stack up against others, such as RegWatcher?

Keep searching, I got the dropper warning too. Also, Bellgamin is right, Comodo, Norton, Defensewall, A2, all could handle the job and provide more protection. No offense to you Prorootect, appreciate the find, I just think there are better options.

As far as I know they hired a GUI designer from Honolulu for this job. :cautious:
However, it may be useful for people who use "only" a suite like Avira or ESS.
It seems to work like aderted, it detects and blocks the creation of reg keys for autoruns, services, BHOs etc.
It looks like sh!t and it's free.

    Cheers

DefenseWall is what you want. Now that one will do the job far more secure in comparison IMO.

SystemShield: after the first one-two days, leaves no warning, if you do not have a malvare in the vincinity.

    NO warning, NEVER.

It's annoying: 1. when starts donation'popup. 2. when shutdown windows it ask if the user wants to shutdown.

@ PROROOTECT, is there a way to stop these annoyances?

Thanks for your time to trying, PROROOTECT.

These annoyances are a bit disappointing. It's a hassle to use everyday, IMO.

    Hello MajoMo,

I was happy to tried to help you.:D

I have searched in the Registry, nothing to do ( native thread ...). To forget, to forget, as replied my doctor. It does not matter: one click and that's all ( after start of Windows only ).

I understand the motivations of developer, yes.

PS. I have also USEC Radix Antirootkit and Nemesis Anti-Spyware from usec.at. All very good softwares from this Austrian developer.

    Yours PROROOTECT
