Thank you for your interest in our O&O DiskImage Special Edition promotion! You know that making a copy of your stored data is the single most important precaution you can take to protect your computer.

Regardless of whether it is a Virus, Malware or misuse, the threats to your data are varied. In the end there are only two things that count regarding your PC: your data and a copy of your data. With your free O&O DiskImage Special Edition license you can immediately benefit from significant security through a backup of your data. And all this at absolutely no cost!

Remember, if you have saved important data, then you should regularly back it up - weekly or monthly at the very least. With O&O DiskImage 2 you can image an entire system just as easily as you can create incremental images. The imaged data can be compressed and encrypted during the process. Splitting an image onto different storage media can either be individually set or carried out automatically.

    Is this a safe link?
I've heard of O&O. Just making sure because they're asking for personal info on page that's not secure-no lock showing in the address bar.
    Thanks.

I got my email with license key. But where do I download the "Special Edition"? Or do I download the Professional Edition and insert the SE license key?

Just tried the Professional Edition and the key they sent me did not work. I assume there will be a special edition to download.

Just sent O&O an email asking for a download link to the Special Edition. We'll see how it goes.

I believe Espresso posted it from some magazine that might include Special edition CD.

I just went to this link - Products - http://www.oo-software.com/home/en/products/ and clicked on Download for O&O DiskImage 2 Professional Edition and filled in the registration info supplied in the registration email, i.e my email address and license key.

As far as I can tell it is just the Standard professional edition even though their email to me is headed ...."Your O&O DiskImage Special Edition-license"

P.S. Just make sure you use the appropriate country, not Australia as shown when you click the above link.

Do you mean that you cannot register after installing, or you failed to download?

I have the download, but waiting on someone else to advise on how the program runs, since I have never been able run image backups successfully.

Waiting to hear from the experts.

2.2 is the latest version and hopefully they provide a link to make/download the Recovery CD!

Key doesn't work with normal version but with special edition it's ok.

EDIT: Any links to register rest of these?

Special Edition is version 2.2 Build 1837. I can't find place where I can make Recovery CD. Can I install Professional version Trial and make it?

This is what I received from O&O support this morning.

    "thank you for your request.

For downloading and installing O&O DiskImage SE please follow the descriptions
on page 14 of your magazine.
    "

I just asked if a magazine purchase was necessary to find this special edition.

As expected; not as good an offer as it sounds.

After the first email, you are sent a second one stating that for £20/$40 you can now receive the FULL version of the Professional Edition which now includes the Windows-based Start CD for recovery of Images!
