My pc screen looks like have water-color

    The original cd program of my Radeon 9550 crashed and I have to go to safe mode to uninstall it. Then I downloaded and install the latest ATI software program driver, and it seems to work fine....everything looks normal...but then I noticed that my desktop that something like a "water-color" marks apppearing on my pc screen. :oops: :doubt: :argh: ...in different parts of the screen. :mad: :blink:

    Anything can I do to correct the problem.o_Oo_O :doubt: :isay: *puppy*

    Can you post a screenshot?

    I know nVidia drivers contain an option to display their logo while gaming, which was enabled by default.

    Actually, I am not using my pc right now. I am just renting here in the internet cafe...coz using my pc now tires my eyes easily of this problem mentioned above. :D :ninja: o_O

    It looks like a streaks of red and sometimes green color is coming out of my pc screen. :doubt: :blink:

    If I understand it right it's definitely not something that could have been caused by a setting.

    What I would do in such a situation:
    Clear your browsers cache.
    Download the correct drivers to your desktop.
    Run system restore, use a date before all problems started.
    Remove all graphics card software and remove the card from the device manager.
    Reboot your PC, then install the new drivers.

    Corrupt drivers yes, but also the card could be dying too.

    Of course need to clean out old drivers and do a reinstall.

    You should use Drive Cleaner Pro 1.5 to clean out all the ATI drivers.

    This is the best driver cleaner app.

    Boot into safe mode, run it and pick all the ATI drivers and remove them.

    Click on the 'Select multiple cleaning filters', then on the drop down Window above where Nvidia is listed in that screenshot, find all the ATI entries and when you do click the 'Add' button to add them one at a time, once you've found all the ATI entries click 'Start', and then that's it. When done, reboot, and reinstall your drivers over. :)
