    Hi All,

I want to give CHX a go. Is there any way to still get it? Will it work on Vista? Are there any packet filters on Vista?

    Cheers
    Jeremy

Search this forum for CHX-I. There are some active download links. You probably need 3.0 as serials for 2.8 are no longer available. Try to download the help file for 2.x "packetfilter.chm" either from this forum or Google.

As for Vista, probably not, but you can try and let us know what happens.

Thanks WSFuser and Fadeaway. I'll give it a go and report back.

I would not expect this to work on vista,.. plus, there is no support for IPV6 address

I have been unable to get CHX-I to work with WPA wireless security.

Look at logs, these will show blocked, and explain the problem.

Although you may have a different setup, but to allow access to WIFI: I made a rule to allow incoming for eth. type OTHER (888e).

I tried something like that, but perhaps not the exact right combination. Will give it another go tomorrow. Thanks.

    It worked, yeah buddy, thanks.
