Help installing Antivir on Ubuntu

I am trying to install real time Antivir module on Ubuntu 7.10.

I followed this tutorial.

I have a problem, when I give the command

After some time I get the message as shown in the pic. Not sure what i should do?

Currently I have just installed Antivir but I am trying to get it work in real time.

Dazuko is not loaded properly. Did you compile it? This thread has a same problem with solutions: http://forum.avira.com/thread.php?postid=19009

What is the log saying is the problem?

Did you compile that debian yourself or did you download it somewhere?

u have linux system , so dont worry about viruses
no need antivirus for linux
linux very strong system and very good
i dont use linux coz im using paltalk and its not working on linux

 

I am not worrying but just wanted to see it running on my box.
No AS, No HIPS. NO Sandbox, No Behav blocker. Atleast I want to run an AV.

 

I personally loved running Linux (mainly Ubuntu but also many other distros) for the two years that I did. A very secure OS. When I first switched over to Linux I must admit I went into withdrawal thinking that I needed at least an antivirus but I soon learned that an antivirus program is only needed for the protection of others that you might send an infected file to. Over all a very pleasant experience. I will probably switch back to Ubuntu after my wife gets tired of these new Vista versions of Solitaire and Spider Solitaire. .
