    Hello Everyone,

I have been trying to use TI-10.0 with DVDs with much trouble by 'bad' media, or drive problems, I cannot solve. After reading, I am considering Flash Drives which I understand TI-10.0 does support.

My question is; If I get two 4GB sticks, when the first is full, will TI automatically stop and ask for the second like it has in the past with the DVDs ? I ask as I have never had, or used a Flash Drive before. I am learning ?

    Have searched 'Flash'

    Any advice Welcome.

    Thank You,

    Wayne

Did I ask an inappropriate question ? Is it answered somewhere else ? Or does just no one seems to know for sure ?

    :doubt:

My guess is no because the flash drive is treated like a hard drive not a CD drive.

Thank You for the reply Tom.

Sounds reasonable. Doesn't help my cause much, but makes sense. That's what I wanted. :)

    Thanks Again,

    Wayne

    Hello Wayne and Tom,

If Windows reports the USB flash drive as a Removable Disk, format it as FAT32 and you will find that, when imaging, TI treats it the same as a CD/DVD i.e. it will ask you for the next volume when the current one is full.

    Regards

    Hello waynerr,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

I wish to confirm Menorcaman's reply. Acronis True Image operates with removable media (flash drive, for example) the same way as with CD\DVD discs, namely, prompts for the next volume if the current one if full.

Please note that if you wish to investigate the issue you have experience we would recommend that you submit a request for technical support, describe the issue you have experience in more details and we will do our best in order to investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
