I plan to keep the full and differential images on separate DVD disks.
Therefore I have first create the images on HDD and then transfer
them to DVD using any 3rd party burn app.

My burn suite is nero 6.0 reloaded. For UDF 2.01 format
(the highest supported by TI) it offers following settings in the manual mode:
Partition type - physical, virtual, sparable
Which one should I use for the purpose my TI recovery CD doesn't have
    problems to read it ?

Have just created a rollback image of my windows installation for recovery if
some times my win gets stucked (currently this quite fresh installation
without big balast). In such situations it is better to go back to fresh
installation via such backup then to repeat the installation.
The rollback image was written to DVD+R directly from TI.
I realized that TI didn't finalize the disks. In this case I don't plan
to place on that DVD any further images, so maybe closing would be good ?
May I close this disk from nero ?

From my earlier experiences in general CD burning I know it is always optimal
to close the disk if no more data will be added. This helps to increase
compatibility with available reader devices and applications.
    I guess TI doesn't close
DVD because user may wish to burn there some more images in some time.
Isn't it any risk in handling DVD by another applications/OS ?

    TI 9.0 Home latest build.

    Hello chrizio,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We are sorry for the delayed response.

Please note that the option to finalize discs should be used if you use "two-step" method for imaging to DVD discs. When using Acronis True Image to burn image directly to DVDs (without storing on the hard drive) it is not necessary to finalize the discs. However, there should be no issues is you finalize them after burning.

As for the partition type (physical partition, sparable partition, virtual partition), you can chose any of the type depending on the type of media you will use (rewritable or nor). Check this article for details.

You might also have a look at this previous post regarding imaging to DVD discs.

    Thank you.
