Hello, new member to wormguard. I am wondering if I get automatic updates with regards to wormguard, in the same manner as TDS-3, or do I need to update wormguard by inserting file names into the blocked file list manually. If it i an automatic update how do I set it up.

Hello Noe and welcome to the forum.
WG works differently from an av/at scanner: it doesn't need updates as it looks for malicious code and other things, very different.
You are free of course to add file names to the blocked list (the working file name, not the worm name)
You might like to look in this thread here
WG3 sits all in the background unnoticed till it needs to warn for something.
WG4 will have an update system and more options, quicklaunch from the systray etc.

I also wondered about the updating, but it seems it runs entirely on heuristics, hence is why I have gotten 3 false-positives, and how I know there fales, is because they were mIRC scripts, of which, I created myself ... so I knew that they werent worms...

Hi Comp1, WG does not really produce false positives in the same sense as AV's or AT's, it pops a window where you can view the problem safely and allows you to decide if it is dangerous and what action you need to take.
WG4 will be quite different is a complete new build which, I believe, will include signatures. :D
