I don't use one. I've never noticed any performance improvements after using one.

I have and occassionally use registry mechanic, microsoft regclean, and jv16 powertools. They have sharp edges and you can easily cut your foot off with them, but then that sharp edge can cut branches so you can build a fire and keep alive. Like many things in life on which I wont elaborate and like the eric clapton song, its in the way you use it

Reg Supreme Pro. I started with about 400 files and got it down to 91 so far. You gain disk space, not necessarily performance enhancement.:)

I have been using the last free version of JV16 Power Tools. I have also used the Ashampoo WinOptimizer Platinum 2 (3 kept crashing), both can be found for free at times.

Hi, folks: FYI, this may suprise you: Rogue Remover 1.09 has flagged your favorite reg cleaner as a rougue app. the reason being mispresentation as a freeware(=spam). Good Luck.

Yes, JV-16 PT -- it's one of the extremely few shareware goodies around that I liked enough to register. 2005 was a bad version, got way too aggressive in even "standard" mode, but the 2006 seems to have returned to the good old days when you could quite often get away (safely) without backups. Plus it added a long-overdue registry compactor.

None. I have no need for them and I haven´t found any reliable enough registry cleaner (except, perhaps, Easy Cleaner)

For quick searches only - RegSeeker v1.35. Otherwise, all edit's are manual.

Crap Cleaner, Eusing, Wise and Reg Seeker, then I compact my registry with NTREGOPT, works out pretty well for me.

While no one can answer that objectively, I have a lot of confidence in the reg cleaners in TuneUp Utilities 2007 and jv16 PowerTools.
