What will happen to those who are running the trial version of the beta 2.7 RC1 ?

    1. Does it expires immediately on Nov 17? And I need to purchase a new license.
    2. Or it will revert to a trial version with number of days still left calculated from the day I first installed the beta trial?
    3. Or it will revert to a fresh trial with another 30 days?

Appreciate if anyone can advise so that I can take the necessary action to purchase a new license, is necessary. If there's another 30 days of trial, I'd probably wait till next month.

mark.eleven, as every version of NOD32 antivirus 2.7 will also have a trial version you can download and use for 30 days. ;)

I personally don't know such thing but it will start from tomorrow . It will take some time until all clients (they are millions) get the new versions , all servers will be extremely busy (I believe) but you will definitely get it some time . It is not just a base update , it is whole version update and may be it will take some more time until all the world get it ;) Nothing to worry about :thumb:

Surprisingly this news item has vanished from the 'Latest news' at the homepage as on date.
    Any specific reason o_O?

You expected it to be released right in the midnight on Nov 17th? It's 1 AM at the Western coast of the US right now.

Shouldn't it be released on a working hour at Slovak Time rather than USA time? o_O

I mean, Eset's HQ is in Slovakia, and it would be a great service to your Slovak customers.

Still no official release of 2.7. What's up? In a couple of hours Europe shuts down.

    Has it been postponed?

not yet - but everyone needs to be a little more patient - it will appear when Eset is ready to release it - probably here:

    http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

and likely to be announced here:

    http://www.eset.com/company/press.php

All of us need to NOT appear to be super-impatient - as small delays are almost inevitable on software release schedules, and EXACTLY why developers don't like releasing dates AT ALL!
