Hi . What issues , can you describe it ?

Since the new servers appeared I had only one error from u2.eset.com just once . Everything should be fine now , except from server u4 which seems to be completely down

I was, the hell with Eset. You would think with the release of a beta that, just maybe, demand might be high. Gee, not that hard since folks have been waiting for an upgrade since man first walked the earth. And I tried and tried just to see my connection time out. Sorry, but I am not about to put the trust of my security into the hands of those who cannot allocate enough bandwidth to supply its customers. Gee, in an outbreak of new viruses, you would be left out pissing in the wind with them. Refund tomorrow a coming.

For the record I have 7 computers running different software looking for the Holy Software Grail. So far, they are all full of crap except for Avira, Norton and Kas. The rest are pocket pickers. You dont need 15 different applications to be secure. Geez when will people realize this.

Updates are working, downloads of the current version are working. The beta is unreachable at this time probably because they are making changes to their webpage.
Beta software is not an upgrade.

and yet you felt differently yesterday

Throwing out the baby with the bath water is never a good idea.

Eset are doing something with their server, which is probably an upgrade (like the other upgrades to the update servers) to prevent such instances in the future.

No worries. I've never seen the U4 Server down for so long, only ever for a few minutes. I look forward to it being replaced as well.

    Cheers :D
