What's oss_reinstall.exe?

    I went into msconfig and found a oss_reinstall.exe startup entry from Acronis. What is it and what does it do?

    I never purposely installed OS Selector and when in DD 10.0 that tool option is unavailable. Is it related to that somehow?

    Hello ClickCardo,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    This service is needed by Acronis OS Selector proper installation and functioning and it is installed along with Acronis Disk Director Suite.

    If you do not have Acronis OS Selector installed and activated then you can disable this service in startup section of msconfig. This will not affect the system in any way.
