Beta installed no probs but uninstalling 3.5 left remnants which I don't like.

Uninstalled Beta, deleted reg entries and files and reinstalled beta.

Reverted to free version which is no big deal but ZAP keeps flagging the beta on opening as wanting to autostart with windows which is not available in the free version.

Finally set ZAP to deny and remember setting.

Other than that, about the same scanning speed as 3.5,very nice gui and icon.Yep,it's a keeper at this stage. :)

4.0 lets you have active guard for 30 days as its a beta.... thats why it wants to autostart... they need to let non subscription users find bugs thats why the guards there for more then 14 days.

    *shameless bump*
Beta 4 "free" is still kicking in at startup.Set ZAP to deny and Winpatrol to disable but it still starts up minimised.

Is there a fix on the wayo_O?

What exactly wants to start up according to ZAP? ewido.exe or guard.exe?

I am using beta 4 which has reverted to the free version on reinstall.

This no prob as I prefer to have it that way but every time I open Ewido to check for updates it is flaggeg by both Winpatrol and ZAP as wanting to autostart-Ewido.exe/minised.
