After the 15 day trial ... regdefend goes into free mode.

You can still use the rules to alwais block or alwais allow.
But you will not be able to block an action in the prompt.

So basicly you 'll not have the option to ask user
It'll alwais block or allow but you'll see the popup to warn you that the change have been made

Please read teh faq in the helpfile:

    vince35,
What f3x said was correct but you can still stop a change from happening in free mode by using the "Kill Process" button in the Alert (or in some cases "Kill Thread").

There are some processes that you cannot reasonably kill because they are critical system services and killing them will cause an immediate reboot, but seeing as RegDefend has the "suspect" process suspended in a system call you might have a chance to gracefully exit a program or two and then allow the reboot (or simply use the power button)

The free version is still very powerful in a lot of situations and its hard to beat the price and the fact that it creates a fairly minimal performance impact during normal running.

    I gottadoit,
I'm not even sure if Jason Tougth about this one ;)
Yep it's a good way to use this as a free registry protector ... if you really need to block a malware.

    To vince32:
This is all that apply to the lastest non beta release of GSS.
A newer version of regdefend is available bundled with appdefend.
However you'll have some nag once in a time if you keep it in free mode.
Please read the topic about George the ghost.
Current beta overdo GTG .... i'll popup 5 min after each boot.
Final version will do it only once in a while
