My freeze problem

    Sorry to bother you, I have a problem! :(

    My box is freezing after loading normally...

    Have recently installed and uninstalled Snoopfree after a trial.
    Have uninstalled and upgraded Quicktime player .
    Then "cleaned" registry with JV16 Reg Cleaner.

    Now have a problem..
    Windows loads fine everything looks normal

    When I click on START, menu appears as usual, when I then go to program lists and click to start any app, everything freezes across the screen related to the start menu and the selected app does not load.

    I can still access all the screen short cuts and other task bar shortcuts but the windows are behind the start menu frozen windows/lists.

    Ahhh, what Have I done and how to fix it?

    XPSP2 fully patched
    NAV/NIS
    AVG
    Firefox 1,5.0.1
    BO Clean
    Spybot S&D

    Does your reg cleaner make a backup.If you can access it try restoring the backup and see how you go.

    Sorry should have been more specific:oops:

    Used the uninstall/start up clean options in JV16 rater than reg. cleaner
