    If this works out, this is going to be the best thing to happen, glad to see there are others thinking about running a PC for what it needs to do, not needs to run to prevent it from getting infected. When layered with myriads of security apps, all the RAM and CPU power gets sapped off thereby leaving very little for other apps. Layered approach is fine for a surfing only home PC where little else would be done on it but bad idea for a workstation where surfing is just one of it's activities.

    Use of the whitelist principle is nothing new, of course. Like any other security plan, it needs to be carefully thought out before implementing.
