I would like to see 3 things in a future version of NOD32

    1.Improved Trojan and spyware detection.
2.A posibility to hide important Windows processes from viruses.
    3.Detection of rootkits.

Would it be possible to add a "save and load button" for Nod's configuration, so it would be easier when Nod has to be reinstalled.

    Thanks,
    Martin

I have a "wishlist" addition, although perhaps it's me...

when setting up the NOD32 scanner to protect to it's maximum, the tabs across the top are:

    Scanning Targets
    Scanning Log
    Actions
    Setup
    Profiles

can we swap Setup and Actions around - as the way I set these is from going to left to right - when I hit Setup and turn on all options, I have then go BACK to Actions to set the actions for the newly enabled types of scanned items.. it's a little counter-intuitive... but if I setup the types of scan FIRST, I think it would make better sense, and less missed settings from new users.

    cheers

    Greg

Not sure if it's right to post here but can Eset update their virus encyclopedia? The last update is like 2004 etc.. They should have something like trendmicro/norton virus encyclopedia which is really good and handy. Just a suggestion, no comparison or something like that ok.

You must just have found and followed an old link - information I see from Eset's site is pretty current - it's also to be found here:

    http://www.virusradar.com/

So how did you find spyware detection and removal? Decent or not quite there yet?

Script seems to be the weak point compared to Kaspersky. Since I have seen so many comparisons between the two. Nobody will quible about a percentage or two. But according to AV-Comparatives the difference is substantial in this area.

Well. psychoticpickle NOD32 is still weak in detecting spywares and adware, dialers, etc. but hope they'll improve their engine in the future. :)

I'd like to see ability to exclude specific URL addresses from IMON HTTP Scan.
It's real pain in the ass to work on Malware Research because i have to disable IMON whenever i want to download something from there.
I'd like to see something like avast! uses for Web Shield,so you can exclude specific URLs which you don't want to monitor.

I'd like to se that NOD32 doesn't paste that IMON HTTP notification inside browser when in "Higher efficiency" mode. It's really annoying. It should just block malware and report it just they way it already does in "Higher compatibility". Or at least make this notification inside browser to be optional.

GeordieSEO - while I don't use wordtracker.com, but I use and PROGRAM php sites, and I've never had a problem I would attribute to NOD32 - if wordtracker.com has a problem, then it's a problem that needs investigation, but to blame NOD32 might be a bit premature...

    regards

just a minor change request - in the submit file window, if you type a comment to send along with the file the text does not wrap around, it just continues so you cant see what you have been typing. the comment box size gives the impression that it should wrap around.

nothing urgent, just be nice to see in a future release.

    cheers, lee

Add Scan button to Quarantine for user added files(or AH detected files). You simply can't check files later (without extracting them) if they are finally detected with signatures or if false positive was fixed.
    avast! supports this,Norton,BitDefender(IIRC),Kaspersky too etc...
    It's a very useful feature.

    Hi @all

I think that a customizable Virus detection message from XMON would be very helpful. We're having several detections from mytob.cy and you can imagine that some folks here are pretty confused about it, if they're actually infected by a virus or not.

    Thanks.

An option to the on-demand scanner to just prompt us an action of the infected files when the scan is finished...

You can do this already with a "Scan" and then go back through the log, right click and choose an action.

    Cheers :D
