    Using the latest Acronis Server v9.1.3832

    I hit <F11> at boot, and enter acronis. All works fine. Select image to restore, and go through the mouse clicks, and restore image. Everything works great until "1 Second left", and it says "Synchronizing with Operating System" and Locks up. I cannot move the mouse, nothing happens on the screen, I have waited quite a bit, and the only thing I can do is a hard shutdown using the power button on the computer.

    The good news is, everything seems to be correct when I reboot. The computer boots fine, all loads up, and I cannot see any problems at all.

    Some specs:
    Windows XP Pro (all updated)
    AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 4800+
    4 gig ram PC3200

    Note: This was not an issue with v9.1.3677

    I did password protect the secure zone when I installed it? Could that be what is causing this issue?

    Hello ugc,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for the delayed response.

    Please note that the restoration process is completed before synchronizing and this message can be ignored. However, in order to investigate the reason for locking the process on this step we need some additional information from you, if you have time for this of course.

    Could you please boot your computer from Acronis True Image Bootable CD created using the latest build (3832) of Acronis True Image 9.1 Server for Windows and see if the issue persists?

    Please also clarify if you restore the entire disk image or the image of a separate system partition.

    Could also create Acronis Report in the way described below:

    - Download and run Acronis Report Utility;

    - Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option;

    - Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy;

    - Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish;

    - Collect the report file from the floppy.

    Please create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post. If you do not have a floppy drive then please take a look at this previous post explaining how to save the sysinfo.txt file to USB flash drive.

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
