You are right vinzenz its a beta and that means that months of development are ahead. What I wanted to ask is if you have shifted the schedule of the 4th version a bit so as to fit the customers' need for a new version...
By the way I used to program a lot in university mainly in C/C++,I still do program but much less though, and believe me I know how complex is even a project of 50.000 lines of code.

Have just downloaded the Beta 4 version and guess what... it DIDN'T detect VNC.. WooHoo. looks good though. can't up date yet as technical problem which is why you poss haven't got your email yet geeorama. Patience is something we that use VNC have had to have so i'm sure you will get your email soon.

Now looking forward to future with both progs running happy side by side!

But it should detect it, if you didn't put it on the ignore list, maybe you didn't update. (That's my guess)

I'd like to know if there is a key for betatesters, so we can test the new version fully, or it will run like demo ?

Hi Donkid, Ewido Beta's features remain the same as a licenced Beta, so is Ewido's protection scope equal as a licenced version of the beta.
And as long as the beta isn't released to be final, or the date is expired, the beta version will function as a fully functional release of course with the possible glitches, hence being beta ;)

    Thanks Infinity.

I just asked that because my resident shield isn't active.I tried uninstall it, and install it again, but no luck.

So after 30 days of demo, if a tester is a newcomer to Ewido and he don't have any licenses on hand, all subsequent beta builds that he will be testing will lose the resident functionality? o_O

that I did not know (oops) .. thought that as long as this beta period is going on .. it was ok to use Ewido, fully functional cause it is not finished .. strange but like they say "dura lex, sed lex" or something like that :)

I need to say that I didn't asked anyone and that is not a real statement from ewido.

It can be a false information, what will be in the beta period. I will talk about this with my superior and then we will see.

But actually the beta is configured to be a trial. :ninja:

The reason for the beta being a trial is that we also have to test the demo/trial-system... Depending on how long the beta will be available, there are different options on how to proceed, we'll see :)
