NOD32 and New viruses

I have an archive with rather new viruses, I have sent them one month ago on samples@eset.com, and them Nod32 and does not define. And the majority of other antiviruses is caught perfectly with these viruses. Prompt the most reliable address on which it is necessary to send viruses. Excuse for my English language, I from Russia. And still, whether it is possible to write here at a forum in Russian? Can so I can reach developers.

Marcos was the one who edited your post, and Marcos works for ESET. So be sure that he knows about your "samples"

 

I have the same problem...sending viruses to ESET(which are detected by other AV and ESET doesn't add them to virus database. )

What's wrong Is it so hard to add them or why ESEt doesn't add those viruses?? (They'll wait till the viruses get ITW infecting a lot of comps and then adding them )

OK.....but I've sent 3 weeks ago another sample of a Trojan and NOD32 doesn't detect it.

Please refrain from bashing Staff, it will not be tolerated, keep things civil and pleasant and there will not be an issue. And please do NOT post live samples.

You have asked where to send samples, the email address you currently use is correct or through the Early Warning System now present in version 2.5, however, samples are added on a priority basis, and only if they function correctly.

Clearly, so earlier also have told that you have a priority on addition of new viruses. But, still time I shall repeat, I have sent samples more 1 month ago, and samples of viruses all workers and them define other anti-virus programs. Can certainly to you send so many viruses that you do not consult at all then not easier to increase staff of employees? The program certainly good, but viruses need to be added in due time. And on the account of system of distant detection, it was not pleasant to me as it works. You send a file and even there is no message, whether it is delivered, has begun to rock or not, is shorter while very underfulfilled and crude system. By the way I tried to send viruses by means of Early Warning System, and anything. I look forward to hearing.
PS: so to me anybody also has not told an e-mail address where to send viruses.

samples@eset.com is the correct address, as well as the Early Warning System.

What I don't understand is why an ESET moderator doesn't reply to this topic clarifing the things and answering to our questions.

 

Because he's probably got work to do...

 

If they hear footsteps,it's probably Microsoft coming. Customer support will loom larger in the near future. Especially if your a small company.

I`m a new user of nod32 and i dont know so much about data and antivirus. But i had some trouble with a trojaner some weeks ago, dont remember that exact name, some trojanC something. I sendt this file to eset support and 3 days later there was a fix for it. I belive that if the virus is "big" or dangerous enough there will be a fix for it. Probably for the best so we dont have an huge virusdatabase wich is good for nothing. I would like to add that i think i am very pleased with nod32. The best thing i`ve ever tried! Have tried norton, panda and mcafee before. But this is my kind of program!

(sorry for my bad english! I`m an norwegian who dosent use english to often!)
