    That's why I never whitelist in Adblock Plus, even for sites that I'd like to support.

    We don't have resources to secure our yahoo website because the orders came from above to put all our resources into slow destruction of our yahoo mail.

    Update Java to the latest version. If a site doesn't need Java, disable it. :thumb:

    Some people might be surprised how well the internet works without Java installed.
    So, if a user experiences little to no difference with it uninstalled, and he or she is no longer at risk from exploits like this one, the next step seems pretty logical to me.

    It's great how little information you are given on this topic. No mentioning whatsoever of how outdated the software on your computer needed to be for this to happen. I for instance find it hard to be believe that with the most recent version of Chrome / Chromium, or Internet Explorer 11 with AppContainer on Windows 8.1, the website can infect you, just because Java is installed. At least with Chrome I would expect a message like "The Java plug-in needs your permission to run."
