I recommend add to EMET all internet facing applications.

There's no point in placing under EMET's protection "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10k_ActiveX.exe" and "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10k_Plugin.exe"

Those are the Adobe Flash Player uninstallers, as pointed out in the article -http://www.rationallyparanoid.com/articles/microsoft-emet-2.html

Moonblood's right. It was an error on my part since I copied/pasted the wrong list (that was my 1st or 2nd draft list when I started out). My personal list doesn't include that anymore. I can't find a way to edit that post...sorry.

The problem is not what software's to add to EMET.For me it is unclear as to what configuration settings work best for vista 32,vista64,win7 64,win7 32 etc. When i set it to max for vista32 hp i get SHEOP and DEP as always on but i set it to recommended settings i have DEP to opt in and SHEOP as disabled. These settings are very unclear for average users. The full guide as to what SHEOP on or off,DEP opt is,DEP off etc. has impact for average users (not tec. users) is not clear.

I agree. Reading up on it hasn't helped me, lol. I had to use the trial and error method on what to check. For some reason, anything checked in the EAF column is a catastrophe for me. IE will run but it takes about five minutes for it to load with navigating pages taking about the same.

After adding all the things in the list and some of my personal opinion my PC have been running smooth with ALL EMET settings enabled on all programs.

Though, Chrome seems to be affected a lil bit sometimes (Slow scrolling on one tab when watching a YouTube video), aside from that i haven't seen any real performance impact :D
BTW, that slow scrolling may be due to an extension i have called "Smooth Scroll" that makes scrolling smooth like on cell phones, etc. Default is too jerky and blocky. :D

I have setup EMET, the only problem I had was when it came to installing Java I had to disable DEP and then re-enable it after the install :)

Same here, I noticed the same with some other installers too.
