I know it's a yawn for most of us but I have been assured that the problems with 2010 have been addressed.

2010 wasn't the problem...it was all the years up to and including 2010 that CA has been in existence. And there is a difference between addressing a problem and actually fixing it.

You have been assured problems were addressed by whom?

really their product have been going down each year and the worst part is you can not get rid of them easily. i have read many testimonies that CA products have been a nightmare for them just to uninstall. I would stay away of a product that can not at list install and uninstall easily without much intervention from the user.

I rarely hear anything about their company anymore. I have internet with Timewarner (Road Runner), and they offer free protection with CA. I didn't take their offer since I'm more than happy with what I already have. I tried their antispyware program many years ago, and i thought it was ok. I would like to see their protect tested by a third party against Prevx, SpySweeper, etc.. People are speaking on this thread of problems they had with it. Is their specific problems? Does it freeze your system or cause BSOD's? I want touch software known for those problems.

Even though I know this one from long time ago (I worked for TWC as a Tier-2 CSR) I would not even waste my time downloading it... :thumbd: It's one of the most uneffective AV's I've ever seen... :thumbd:
