    Hi,

so today I was working on my parents computer because there was a trojan duplicating itself continually.

Couldn't get rid of it with ESET NOD32, nor with MBAM so I used combofix. But therefor you have to kill other virusscanners and software so I had to kill the NOD32 service ekrn.exe normally that is not a problem except for now because apparently the virus disabled my administrator status, so I couldn't kill the process.

So I had to screw with NOD. So combofix would work.

Combofix found a rootkind so that explained everything. Now everthing is gone I wanted to repair NOD32 again.

This isn't possible nor is it possible to install it again I've got this error message:
    http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/4246/eseterror.png

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

So the error is in the Registery. I tried to delete the registery key but it is not possible. Checked any registery errors with CCleaner but it found nothing alligning NOD32...

So I'm out of options. I really need help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings,

    Esix

What to do if your are currently infected, it would behove you to take these steps prior to attempting another reinstall attempt as something is preventing this from happening.
