I have just bought a new Prevx license, including SafeOnline protection. The thing is, it seems to mess all my Opera settings (appearance, bookmarks, options). There has to be a link with this Opera pop-up I get whenever I use it :

Any idea what I should do to solve this issue ?

    Thanks a lot :)

    Hello,
Could you try sending a scan log to us by clicking Tools > Save Scan Results and sending it to report@prevxresearch.com? I suspect Prevx is interfering with Opera's ability to save data because it isn't trusting all of the Opera components.

    Thanks! :)

Could you try running another scan and then rebooting your PC? The issues should hopefully be fixed now :) If not, could you send over another scan log?

    Thanks!

Hi Joe I think you need to take a look at the new version of Opera 10.50 Build 3296 it's another compatibility problem with PSO! I can send you a scan log if you like?

Sure :) Although, from what some other members have told me, this new version has some fairly fundamental changes in it which could cause us to not be fully supporting it at the moment.

It would definitely be worth taking a look at a scan log to see if we can change anything database-side, but if needed, we'll put out a software update to support the newest version.

Yes - this is correct. Unfortunately, in many cases, this is the most convenient place to put the browser tab in the browser because of an inability to prevent the browser from putting other things on top of our tab.

If you do see something stranger than it alongside the minimize/close buttons, send me a screenshot and I'll take a look! :)

If you click on Restore Down next to the red close icon in the top right hand corner of the browser window to produce a half size Opera browser window you will see the Prevx tab sitting on the top of the tab bar which is why it is out of site when the browser window is maximised. A way round it is to left click the red opera 'O' in the top left corner and click 'Show Menu Bar', the tab is then visible.

    Hello all,
Based on your signatures, I believe I know the cause - SafeOnline will not integrate into Opera or Chrome on x64 PCs. We'll be adding this soon but because of fundamental architectural differences between 32/64bit platforms, we currently only support Firefox and IE in SafeOnline on x64.

Let me know if you're seeing anything different! :)
