    Hi.
I have EAV 4.0.474 installed. It works OK. But suddenly I got Microsoft red shild that says: " Windows didn't find any antivirus software on this computer"
Eset AV says that it has maximum protection and database updated succesfully. EAV eye is green.
    Repair and reinstall didn't help.
    Win XP sp2.
    Ahy help?

Strange. I read your post and the new beta version shows the av off too. Wonder what is causing this problem. Av is green and should be on.

You may disable the alert if you are positive your anti-virus installation has installed and updated successfully.
Re-enable the Security Center alert again once you are certain that the installation was complete since the alerts are extremely useful in the event of failure of your anti-virus scanner.

Unfortunately, Marcos suggestion doesn't work for me. Security center also doesn't see my old good Kerio firewall.
Deleted content of repository folder didn't restored.
Microsoft updates notification works well. I unchecked Firewall and Antivirus alert in Security Center for a while.
    More ideas?

Yes I did it exactly as you suggested excluding Windows Update checkbox.
But I can't enable Antivirus and Firewall without getting alert again.
ESET antivirus and Kerio Firewall have no problems.

My best guess it that it is an issue with Kerio, check your settings and/or doumentation.
Have you been adjusting anything in the services applet?
If this is the case, you would need to re-enable what you have recently disabled, if any.

I rechecked of all my services and they have no changes. I tried restore registry from ERUNT (made 3 days ago), It didn't help. Yesterday my computer did not have problem with Security Center. It is a puzzle!

    I found it.
Application Event viewer gave Error ID 1802 "Windows Security Center uhable to establish event queries with WMI to monitor 3rd party AV and Firewalls."
I googled it and found some tools to repair WMI services.
    http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm
But I couldn't repair because WMI module wasn't found.
I was forced to restore my backup of drive made with Drive Snapshot. It helped.
When I step by step restored some installed after backup utilities IsoBuster v2.2.1 (pirated copy downloaded from isohunt.com) return Event ID 1802. I didn't run keygen. I used old serials that I had.
Uninstallation this utility didn't return good status and I restored backup again.
    Now it seems OK.
    My Kerio version is 4.2.2
    Thank you for helping.

Later I checked my computer for damages made by IsoBuster. I can reproduce this issue. This program adds itself to Path in Environment Variables ( My Computer-Properties-Advanced-Environment Variables-Path) and somehow damages(deletes) this line: %Systemroot%\System32\Wbem. I tried to restore it and get good result.
    No more Security alert.
