    I chat In yahoo A lot,And It's annoying they way they act there at time's,Are there any other GOOD chats around ,that dont cost?And dont have all the Idiots that lock accounts an use lame booters?The account lockers there are way outta hand.And seems to be no way to stop them.Thanks for any leads to better chat program .

    I don't think I've ever been anywhere that was "general" chat, so I can't really offer any suggestions. Most of my chat has been within specialized groups, like seniors (the CARP Back Fence) or head-injury support groups, or else "on the side" at games sites like Pogo or GameHouse.

    http://www.gcn.cx/ is fairly tidy.
    The rare occassions i do go to yahoo i use YahELite for rooms . It has anti spam and booting etc . Since using this I have never had any problems staying in there ( havent been booted nor lost connection . It has real good filters and iggy filters.http://yahelite.org/deep/files/yahelite/

    Thanks solarpowered,thats helpful info,I chat in Hackers Lounge #1 ,even tho It gets a bit crazy at times.Same name there As here.Thanks for info a lot!!
