Anti-Executable v3 beta is ready to go. Major changes in v3 include:

    1. Faronics Core Console support (for central deployment,
    configuration, scheduling, and control).

    2. Windows 2000/XP 32-bit/XP 64-bit/Vista 32-bit/Vista 64-bit support
added and Windows 95/98/Me support dropped.

    3. New White List scanning and parsing architecture.

    4. Multiple White Lists available.

    5. Central White List "deployment".

    6. White Lists can be viewed and edited.

    7. White Folder feature added to exempt a CD-ROM, USB device, disk, or
    network drive from Anti-Executable protection

Where do you see this? Did you get an email from Faronics?

Thanks. I'm looking forward to this version, without the beta of course. :)

There's no mention of a beta on their website or in their forum.

Maybe this is some sort of private beta.

It was sent to me with an invite from their company. I had inquired a couple of months ago about a Vista version. Faronics is alive and well.

Send an email to this address and request to beta test.

    betaprogram [at] faronics.com

They will send you an email giving you the links to download the programs and the documentation in a zip file.

My email had both the Standard and Enterprise edition downloads plus both the 32 and 64 bit versions were included in the Standard zip file that I downloaded.

The latest Current Version is still : Faronics Anti-Executable Standard Version 2.30.000.317.
That's the one I have, but without significant improvements. Version 3 seems to be more interesting.

Anti-Executable is in my experiences a ONE-OF-A-KIND app that i yet to see duplicated genericly like some apps.

Faronic's is been fortunate to have had some very sharp minds develop their security/virtual apps, and they do the job with NO system impact whatsover. At least on NT Systems, Vista is another matter and i wish they (M$) would have just shelved that O/S because it's eat into NT Security Systems developers time & budgets to bring compatibility to it, but so be it.

Ha Ha, $M didn't get Yahoo afterall, they need to do better at building the next generation of operating systems anyway instead of trying to spread themselves thin in areas they do not belong in the first place.

    Bahhh
