Version 2.7 will come shortly after that with a feature to look for the untrusted files, their parent and a way to delete/ mark them untrusted.

Nice. GeSWall is reaching what i expect from it. :)
The biggest "shortcoming". Lets see. It WILL make GeSWall very appealing. Then we can compare it with SandboxIE much better regarding pros/cons (even if they are different from start- virtualization vs policy).
    And specially DW.

I thought may be nobody noticed as no one posted here.
Infact they mailed me about a week ago , few days before the official release but I was busy and was not able to post it here until they officially announced it.

BTW, while running FireFox isolated in GesWall, whenever I connect or disconnet my dial up I get attack notification about Firefox from GW. I encountered it with RC version also.
Anyone who uses dial up can confirm it? I wonder if it is a bug or some conflict on my system.

    Thanks

Thanks everyone. Also is there a big difference between the free version and the paid?

    Hi Aigle.

    I started using GeSWall today.
I isolated Firefox 2.0 and I got the same message box when I connected using dialup.
No message box when I disconnected though.

Free might be enough for many users Besides u can always add ur own rules etc to gain much more from free version.

I tried GesWall 2.6 for a few days and liked it very much...except:

It does not seem to have an option to delete all of the browser history files, and other things that occur while using it as Sandboxie does. In other words, Sandboxie will put your system back as it was after using it (if you do not recover files). Will GesWall do this?

Is this a problem with the GesWall or did I miss something?

    Many thanks,

    @silver0066

no, since geswall isn't a sandbox. you can use CCLeaner or something of that nature to clean your browsing history. geswall, IMHO, is still the superior security app. it's much better vs keyloggers and process termination methods than sandboxie.

I mailed to them and they promised to fix it with application rules data base update.
Few more bugs to be fixed later.
