I was fine, regularly updating uBO, until the new pop-up.
[ATTACH] This is extracting the ***** on an industrial scale!
I don't. I think they're just greedy.
Not as far as I know, I just use Firefox predominantly now.
+1
Looks very interesting, thanks. :thumb:
OK thanks. I'm not over-keen on Safari since I can't use uBO on it.
Thanks for the info. What about Unix/Linux versions of the DDG browser?
Same idea, mine's probably less sticky though lol.
My Juno laptop (Ubuntu) has a little plastic sliding cover to hide the webcam. It's pretty standard on Juno laptops.
They'll get you eventually. They own Google Earth and they know where you live, mate lol.
Ad's are a punishment.
I've seen a new development (new to me anyway). The 'x' in the upper right corner now has a timer before you can click it off.
I'm hoping the uBO team will manage to block that pop-up/nag screen eventually.
Thankfully it's just an annoyance at the moment. It is becoming irritating however.
I hate hate speech. Does that make me a hater? o_O
Ironically I've not seen it on Chrome. Probably because of Freevee Skipper!
[ATTACH] At least it can be clicked off at the moment (Firefox, uBO). Must be Friday the 13th or something.
I might have a butcher's hook at the Mac firewall. One day. I still can't believe that the Bork Tuesday thread is still going. Windows updates...
I've recently installed VLC on macOS, QuickTime is still my default. VLC has been my default on Ubuntu for a while now.
That would be my guess.
I don't even use a firewall in Ubuntu. I'm not sure whether the firewall on my MBA is activated or not. I wouldn't even sit next to a Windows...
What he said. ;)
I feel pretty safe with my MBA.
