norton 2009 is the best so far. nod32 is 2nd in my opinion. im using norton 2009 now.

yes but, when buying antivirus or security software you should still consider your requirements as a user.
the same thing happened to me., but after several updates. it's now fixed i think. i experience after that 195 update i cant use internet explorer...
pc tools antivirus 5.0 has some bugs. it needs to fix first.

yes avg 8.0 and tf 3.5 have issue even before. so i suggest use avg 8.0 + norton antibot

looks like nod32 is loosing its hold on the top antivirus software. but in vb100 test nod32 always gets an award. i wonder....

norton internet security 2009 alone is enough for your protection. after my subscription with avg 8.0 i will buy norton anti virus 2009.
you want a light firewall? well use windows firewall. effective and very light.
i hate that teatimer, its very annoying. spybot is the best before, but now it lost its shining star. SAS and MBAM is the winner.
use norton antibot instead. it really works.
with avg 8.0 paid edition, u can automatically set the intervals in 15minutes if u want. but avg does updates only its definition i think 3 times...
maybe nod 2.7. but my god., these days computer has lots of ram. i think the least i can see is 512mb
