yep it's interesting to know whether it will work or not. though I doubt that even boot cd will work since Mac has different architecture.
u need to enter the password for your Windows Account under which you're logged in.
If it was two years ago, it must have been version 9.0 that you used. It doesn't have an option to mount the backup archive, you can only explore....
If its version 11 please make sure thta you use build 8053.

Is "D" ur internal drive or external? Also there could be bad blocks or errors on ur Drive "D" therefore the ASZ was not created correctly....

it shuda also work correctly with external drive. Try to disable usb legacy support in bios and check whether acr bootable cd can detect ur usb drive.
try adding parameter "quiet acpi=off noapic" then boot into full version. as a workaround u can disable legacy support in bios.. and then boot...
give it a try by downloading a trial version. if you will jus try to backuo usin atih 10.0 in win environment then it won't damage any of ur...
most probably u're doing smth wrong when creating incremental backups.. in this case, i can advise if u use 10.0 atih to create acr backup...
in addition, validate the backup archive u wish to restore and update snapapi if ure restoring under windows.
