hey everybody, I really want to shift to using Linux as my primary operating system But I still cannot lose some of the software that work...
I'd replace the RAM with at least 1GB before thinking of an antivirus this will make huge difference and you would be able to use any BASIC AV...
f-secure has a "free" version?! :doubt:
Looks like an on-demand scanner with no real-time protection I might give it a try when I go back home just for fun ;D
No software on this earth will give you a "complete protection" ::)
TIS was great back in 2006, I used to run on all PCs at home I wonder what happened to them now, no one is even talking about them in this forum
just installed Rising AV 2009 and it's working very light and with no issues so far. I am on build 7201 :)
runs very light on windows 7. but the GUI is very missed up and useless. it's a known issue with W7 :)
I was completely annoyed by avira free asking for a restart after every update!! now I know why :D
I've been using it as my primery OS on my HP laptop since the first beta running build 7027 x86 now and it works very good
Panda for windows 7, Kaspersky for windows 7, avast home and professional, AVG free, Avira free all worked well here. CIS is confirmed working...
