norton by far.
but klif is not part of the engine.
well contrary to ms one care, it has VB 100% awards :D
kav engine is part of the bases, (pure engine) and unified, so v5 and v6 use the same engine, but from version to version there are modifications...
Re: Outpost Security Suite Pro Public Beta 5.0.1184.611.168 released i think i mentioned the AV in the first word of my previous post
see what www.virustotal.com has to say.
Re: Outpost Security Suite Pro Public Beta 5.0.1184.611.168 released virusbuster, hmm there are better alternatives out there.
i think you should wait for avs for vista, that should be built upon the mp2 of kav 6, (and might work on xp just like kav 6 mp2)
but avs is kav appart from the optional toolbar (that a normal person shouldn't install)
it's a module for internet explorer that checks scripts (js etc.)

are you sure the trainer is really what it supposed to be, what does nod32 detect it as? the only thing that mgiht allow download is...
yes, that's what the developers have in mind.
i wouldn't restrict kav to much, there are other things it needs to read, for example the startup entries to get the loaded...
avi's, if they are actually avi by content might be skipped by some scanners because they are not programs. most AVs scan it quick though.
Separate names with a comma.
